Naga Black (also known as Bhut Jolokia) is one of the hottest pepper varieties. The waxy skin is dark brown and wrinkled. This small, but extremely hot pepper scores 10 out of 10 in terms of hotness.
Plant growth starts out slow, but eventually makes tall plants almost 1.5 meters (in good locations). The thin-walled, wrinkled, pointed fruits reach a length of 5-6 cm, usually ripening to dark brown.
Warning: Using this pepper requires extreme caution. Wear hand, eye and breathing protection.
