The Cayenne Chocolate Chili is a brown variety of the red, classic Cayenne Chili. The cayenne chili pepper is one of the most common varieties of chili in the world and is a real classic on your spice rack.
The plants grow bushy and produce many of the brown ripening, approx. 10 - 12 cm long pods. Their heat is rather mild for a Cayenne. As the fruits have very thin walls, they are ideal for drying, but if used freshly they also add an interesting colour to salsas and sauces.
