The Aji Charapita Red is a rare chili pepper originating from northern Peru. This variety produces small, round fruits of 0.5 to 1 cm with a deep red colour. The flavour is fruity with a heat level of approximately 30,000–50,000 Scoville Heat Units.
The compact plants are highly productive and suitable for cultivation in pots or open ground. With proper care, they will produce hundreds of peppers throughout the season.
